Command Description<br />

The REVERSE stage can be used to reverse message text, multiple line<br />

write-to-operator (MLWTO) buffer sequence or change the order of messages in the<br />

pipeline.<br />

Termination Conditions<br />

REVERSE terminates when the input stream or the output stream is disconnected.<br />

Operand Descriptions<br />

PIPE REVERSE<br />

LINE<br />

Specifies that each line of output is to be reversed, character by character. For<br />

example, DSI069I SYNTAX ERROR is changed into RORRE XATNYS I960ISD. LINE is<br />

the default.<br />

MESSAGE<br />

Specifies that each multiline message is to be reversed, line by line. Only<br />

multiline messages are affected when specifying MESSAGE.<br />

STREAM<br />

Specifies that the next stage receives messages in reverse order. The structure<br />

of multiline messages is not affected.<br />
