Kits and ReagentsThe ready-to-use pretreatment kits are recommended to be used with Poseidon FISH DNA probes to producehigh quality results. The kits contain all necessary ready-to-use reagents used for slide pretreatment andwashing steps for FISH. The reagents increase the permeabilization of the cell membranes to facilitatepenetration of the Poseidon FISH DNA probes. Reagents provided allowto perform mild digestion on difficult cytogenetic samples,such as uncultured amniocytes, direct blood smears, buccalscrapings, urine, touch preps and others.98
ReagentsFISH Hybridization BufferFISH Hybridization Buffer (FHB) is a ready -to-use hybridizationsolution used for Poseidon FISH DNA probes. FHB containsformamide, SSC, and Dextran Sulfate. Qualified for use forstandard cytological and all kind of direct samples (unculturedamniocytes, blood, bone marrow, buccal scrapin, urine etc.).FHB is provided with all Poseidon Satellite Enumeration andSub-Telomeric probes.Paraffin Tissue BufferParaffin Tissue Buffer (PTB) is a ready-to-use hybridizationsolution for Poseidon FISH DNA probes. PTB containsformamide, SSC, and Dextran Sulfate. Qualified for use onParaffin tissues.Whole Chromosome BufferWhole Chromosome Buffer (WCB) is a ready- to- usehybridization solution for Poseidon Whole Chromosomeprobes. WCB contains formamide, SSC, and Dextran Sulfate.Qualified for use on standard cytological samples.
