AssessmentAssessment varies according to the purpose of the reading. Discuss how the song helps us remember some of the important things thatElizabeth Peratrovich did. Discuss the significance of the pictures that accompany thetext.Help students notice that the order of these pictures helps them remember whatcomes next in the song. As you and the students sing, point to the text and pictures asappropriate.
