About <strong>Education</strong> Development Center, Inc.Founded in 1958, EDC is a nonpr<strong>of</strong>it research and development organization that tackles some <strong>of</strong> the world’s mosturgent challenges in education, health, and economic development. Often in collaboration with public and privatepartners, EDC’s 1,200 staff members design, deliver, and evaluate program innovations in the United States andaround the world.
