9 1ST ARGYLLSHIRE HIGHLANDERS. 77the 91st embarked in small craft for England, isis.The head-quarters disembarked at Dover on the3rd of November ;but, some of the smacks havingbeen dispersed in a gale, the troops in them'were disembarked at Ramsgateon the 9th ofthat month. The regiment next marched forBexhill Barracks, and arrived there on the 8thof November. Early in December they movedto Haslar Barracks, and on the 17th embarkedon board transports at Gosport, and sailed thesame day for Ireland, disembarkingat Cork onthe 24th, and finally marchingon the 27th and28th, in two divisions, for Dublin, which placewas reached on the 6th and 7th of January,1819.1819.
