9 1ST ARGYLLSHIRE HIGHLANDERS. 77<strong>the</strong> <strong>91st</strong> embarked in small craft for England, isis.The head-quarters disembarked at Dover on <strong>the</strong>3rd <strong>of</strong> November ;but, some <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> smacks havingbeen dispersed in a gale, <strong>the</strong> troops in <strong>the</strong>m'were disembarked at Ramsgateon <strong>the</strong> 9th <strong>of</strong>that month. The regiment next marched forBexhill Barracks, and arrived <strong>the</strong>re on <strong>the</strong> 8th<strong>of</strong> November. Early in December <strong>the</strong>y movedto Haslar Barracks, and on <strong>the</strong> 17th embarkedon board transports at Gosport, and sailed <strong>the</strong>same day for Ireland, disembarkingat Cork on<strong>the</strong> 24th, and finally marchingon <strong>the</strong> 27th and28th, in two divisions, for Dublin, which placewas reached on <strong>the</strong> 6th and 7th <strong>of</strong> January,1819.1819.
