Second-lieutenant, 22ndFebruary, 1879. Served in the latter part of the Zulu War, 1879(medal with clasp). To the Grenadier Guards in 1880, with which heserved in Egypt.Power, Robert. Ensign, 17th September, 1812 ; lieutenant, 5thJanuary, 1815. To 73rd Foot, 8th February, 1816.Power, "William John. Surgeon, 1846. Had previously servedwith the 7th Dragoon Guards in the expedition against the insurgentBoers at the Cape of Good Hope in 1845, and in the Kaffir War of1846-47 the latter part of which as surgeon of the reserve battalion91st. Died in England, 7th September, 1849.Prevost, William. Ensign, 9th March, 1867. Served withthe regiment in India. Lieutenant, 13th May, 1870; captain, 2ndMarch, 1878. Served in the Zulu War of 1879 was; present at thebattle of Ginginhlovo and relief of Ekowe (medal with clasp). Wasinvalided home shortly afterwards. Ensign, 29th April, 1847 ;lieutenant, 28th December, 1849 ; captain, 5th of June, 1855. Servedin the Kaffir War of 1851-52 (commanded a levy of Fingoes); alsoserved in Greece and India with the regiment. Retired, 4thNovember, 1859.Rawstorne, John George. From 62nd Foot, with which he hadserved hi the Peninsula from August, 1813, to the end of the war, andwas present at the battle of Orthes. Captain, 10th October, 1838.Joined 91st in 1842. Served in the Kaffir War, 1846-47 (medal) ;was wounded at Block Drift, April, 1846. Commanded a detachmebtof 91st under Sir Harry Smith in 1848 against the Boers. Served inGreece with 91st.
