The regimentwas distributed on this old three-decker asfollows : The troops on <strong>the</strong> third deck, <strong>the</strong>women and children on <strong>the</strong> after-part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>middle deck, and <strong>the</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficers on <strong>the</strong> poop.
