On<strong>the</strong> 4th <strong>of</strong> March <strong>the</strong> force proceededto <strong>the</strong>Waterklo<strong>of</strong>, and was engagedin a combinedmovement against <strong>the</strong> Kaffirs from daylight onthat morning until evening,<strong>the</strong> <strong>ca</strong>sualties to <strong>the</strong>regiment being one sergeant and three privateskilled, and Lieutenant-Colonel Yarborough, EnsignHibbert, three sergeants, and twelve privateswounded ;one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> sergeants and one privateultimately dying <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir wounds.When <strong>the</strong> force was returning in<strong>the</strong> direction<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>ca</strong>mp, each regiment covered by a companyin skirmishing order,that <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>91st</strong> wasunder Lieutenant Bond.
