On this oc<strong>ca</strong>sion <strong>the</strong> life <strong>of</strong> MajorWilmot, E.A., was saved by Sergeant EvanFerguson <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>91st</strong>. The patrol retired, andattacked<strong>the</strong> enemy again on <strong>the</strong> following morning,returningto Fort Peddie on <strong>the</strong> llth.
