6 Argument and Options ReferenceCorresponding Output Arguments. Some of the fields of optimValuescorrespond to output arguments of the optimization function. After the finaliteration of the optimization algorithm, the value of such a field equalsthe corresponding output argument. For example, optimValues.fvalcorresponds to the output argument fval. So,ifyoucallfmincon with anoutput function and return fval, the final value of optimValues.fval equalsfval. The Description column of the following table indicates the fields thathave a corresponding output argument.Command-Line Display.
