Large-Scale Linear ProgrammingWhile these preprocessing steps can do much to speed up the iterative partof the algorithm, if the Lagrange multipliers are required, the preprocessingstepsmustbeundonesincethemultipliers calculated during the algorithmareforthetransformedproblem,andnotthe original. Thus, if the multipliersare not requested, this transformation back is not computed, and might savesome time computationally.4-19
