APPENDIX RTerms Pertaining to APFTQ Members OnlyLETTER OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE APFTQ AND THE WGCWITH RESPECT TO HARMONIZATION ISSUESWHEREAS, as agreed to in the Memorandum of Settlement entered intobetween the APFTQ, the CFTPA and the WGC on June 26 and 27, 2006,the parties have harmonized the 2003-2005 APFTQ/WGC IPA and the2003-2005 CFTPA/WGC IPA into one national agreement;WHEREAS, certain provisions of the 2003-2005 APFTQ/WGC IPA couldnot be merged into the national agreement since they resulted from specificnegotiations between the APFTQ and the WGC;NOW, THEREFORE, the APFTQ and the WGC agree as follows:1. The following provisions outlined below shall continue to apply toAPFTQ members only:2. TELEVISION DOCUMENTARYA1109 Division of Production Fee and Distribution Royalties AmongCredited WritersWhere it is necessary to divide any Production Fee or DistributionRoyalty among the credited Writers, the division shall be as follows:c) Documentariesiii)When a credited Continuity Writer has been contracted as aContinuity Writer for a Documentary, such Writer shall receivea percentage of the Production Fee and Distribution Royaltiesbased on the number of minutes such Writer has written in theprogram divided by the total number of minutes in theProgram.224
