Automatic monthly payment system (Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover) based on a yearly contract. Automatic monthly payments areeasy and secure. Once enrolled, there is no lapse in membership UNLESS the membership office receives in writing a cancellation request at least 30 days priorto membership renewal date. Automatic monthly payment dues plus the processing fee of $3 will be processed for your convenience. There is a $10 declinedcredit card fee, and a $30 returned check fee. Membership renewal month is set from the time of enrollment and will NOT be altered unless there hasbeen a membership lapse of at least six months. Membership cards are non-transferable and can be revoked upon violation of MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> policies.ParkingTo expedite entry to the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong>, all members should have a valid MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> parking permit in the windshield of their cars. Parking permits may bepicked up at the Front Desk of the Robert <strong>Russell</strong> Building (Main Building).The MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> reserves the right to tow (at operator’s/owner’s expense) orplace a boot (removal charge of $50) on any vehicle parked in an unauthorized or undesignated parking area.Use of the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong>The MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> is delighted that it is viewed as a “home away from home” for children and families. Beginning at age 10, children may utilize MAR-<strong>JCC</strong>facilities without “parental” supervision. Those 9 years old and younger may be on campus ONLY if enrolled in an organized MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> class or activityOR if in the company of a parent or under other authorized adult supervision. The MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> reserves the right to place unattended “under-age”children in the care of MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> program staff until children have been picked up by a parent or his/her designate. There will be a charge for thisservice based on the fee structure of the Elementary After School Program.Guest PolicyAll Access Members are entitled to bring a guest up to three times a year at a fee of $10/adult and $5/senior or ”junior” (13 and under) for use ofMAR-<strong>JCC</strong> Health & Wellness facilities. Guest must be accompanied by a member. Same non-member guest may utilize the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> up to 3 timesper year. Out-of-town guests who belong to another <strong>JCC</strong> outside the area receive complimentary guest privileges for up to two weeks per year.Upon presenting a valid membership card from the other <strong>JCC</strong> to the Membership Department.Class & Program RegistrationIn order to register during early registration and receive priority registration and member rates on programs, membership must be in good standing and ineffect for the duration of the program. If membership expires during the course of the program, members must either pay for the renewal at registrationor give a post-dated payment for the renewal. Payment must accompany all registrations for classes and programs. To be eligible to register,member accounts must be up-to-date including membership fees. Associate and non-members may register for classes, when specified. No phoneregistration will be accepted. Registration will be accepted in person or by fax with completed registration form using Master Card, Visa, Discover,or American Express with registrar approval. There will be a $30 charge for any returned checks, and a $10 fee for any declined credit card. Aregistration will not be processed, a space (if available) will not be reserved in the class or program, and attendance will not be permitted until asigned registration form (accompanied by payment) is received. The MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> reserves the right to cancel any class or program due to insufficientregistration and fees will be refunded.Fee AssistanceMAR-<strong>JCC</strong> offers fee assistance to qualified individuals and families. Extended payment plans are also available. All requests are handledconfidentially. Call extension 142, for scholarship application and to schedule a confidential interview.Payment for Private Lessons/Personal trainingPer MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> policy and for insurance purposes, payment arrangements for all personal training and private lessons at the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> must beprocessed through a MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> registrar located in the Membership Office, Fitness and Tennis Center. MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> membership is required. Onlyapproved personnel and independent contractors employed by the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> are eligible to provide personal training and private instruction."Outside Professionals" Use of the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong>No outside trainers, teachers, coaches, tutors, therapists, pros, etc., may utilize the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> for professional purposes - even in the company of andwith the permission of a MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> member, without written authorization from the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> Executive Director. "Outside Professionals" receiving saidauthorization must comply with all insurance requirements and provide all required documentation.Program RefundsProgram refunds will be awarded if request is made no later than the second week of class for those classes offered on a semester basis. For classesthat have a yearly registration, refund requests must be made by the 4th week of the program. Refund requests after this period of time must beaddressed in writing to the Executive Director explaining the extenuating circumstances for the request. Allow 4 weeks for refund checks. There is aprocessing fee of $35 per transaction. NO REFUNDS or CREDITS will be issued for programs requiring try-outs, such as sports travel teams & Bamacholdance troupes. Credits expire one year from date of issue.LockersYou may bring a lock to secure your belongings in a “daily locker” in our locker room facilities. The lock must be removed by the end of each day, orit will be removed by MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> staff. Permanent lockers are available annually for $65. MAR-<strong>JCC</strong>members, guests, and staff are expected to treat one another with respect and dignity and no form ofbullying will be tolerated. Having been informed of the activities to be conducted by the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong>, I/We as an individual or as a parent or guardian of participants named herein,assume all risks and hazards incidental to the activities, and release from responsibility and agree to indemnify and hold harmless its officers, directors, independent contractors,volunteers and all employees for any illness or injury to me or my children or family members occurring during his/her participation in any activities or use of any recreationalfacilities at or conducted by the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong>.I hereby give permission to the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong>, and all persons acting with its permission, to obtain, use, copyright and/or publish photographic portraits or pictures of the above namedregistrant(s), whether such pictures are still, moving, single or multiple, or in which registrant(s) is in whole or in part, in conjunction with the registrant’s own name or another name.It is my understanding that such pictures are for the purpose of art, advertising, trade and any other lawful purpose whatsoever. I understand further that I do not have any opportunityto approve or review the finished product that may be used in conjunction therewith or the use to which it may be applied.In the event that the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> commences collection action to recover past due fees, charges, etc. for any program offered by the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong>, the MAR-<strong>JCC</strong> shall be entitled toreasonable attorney’s fees and costs.To be eligible for classes or programs, if membership is required, member’s account must be current and in good standing.
