Confidentiality of results presented at this meeting
To continue in the sprit of the highly successful Workshops in the past, we hope that this 11 th
International Workshop on KSHV and Related Agents will provide ample opportunity for informal
discussions and exchange of ideas, data and reagents. To promote such interactions, and to
encourage participants to present unpublished results, please treat all scientific presentations and
abstracts in this book as confidential unpublished research. Abstracts may not be cited. If you want to
cite results, please do so as a “personal communication”, only with agreement from the respective
authors. Results presented at this meeting may not be used as the basis of research without the
explicit permission of the corresponding author. The KSHV field has already benefited from many
collaborative ventures and a relatively free flow of reagents. Let’s encourage presentation of recent
data and establish the KSHV workshops as an exciting series of meetings that are worth attending
and cannot be replaced by scientific journals.
