Revocation, suspension and limitation <strong>of</strong> an approval (NCAR M.B.607)The CAAN will:(a) suspend an approval on reasonable grounds in the case <strong>of</strong> potential safety threat,or;(b) suspend, revoke or limit an approval pursuant to NCAR M.B.605 (Para 32).37. Application (NCAR M.B.701)37.1 For commercial air transport the CAAN will receive for approval with the initialapplication for the air operator’s certificate and where applicable any variationapplied for and for each aircraft type to be operated:(a) the continuing airworthiness management exposition;(b) the operator’s aircraft maintenance programmes;(c) the aircraft technical log;(d) where appropriate the technical specification <strong>of</strong> the maintenance contractsbetween the operator and <strong>Part</strong>-145 approved maintenance organisation.37.2 The investigation and continuous oversight <strong>of</strong> the facility will be carried out byDirector General, CAA Nepal.38. Application (AMC M.B.701 (a))38.1 The CAAN will not expect the documents listed in NCAR M.B.701 (a) to besubmitted in a completed state with the initial application for grant or changesince each may require approval in its own right and may be subject toamendment as a result <strong>of</strong> CAAN assessment during the technical investigations.Draft documents will be submitted at the earliest opportunity so thatinvestigation <strong>of</strong> the application can begin. Grant or change cannot be achieveduntil the CAAN is in possession <strong>of</strong> completed documents.38.2 This information is required to enable the CAAN to conduct its investigation, toassess the volume <strong>of</strong> maintenance work necessary and the locations at which itwill be accomplished.38.3 The applicant will inform the CAAN where base and scheduled line maintenanceis to take place and give details <strong>of</strong> any contracted maintenance which is inaddition to that provided in response to M.A.201 (h) 2 or M.A.708 (c).38.4 At the time <strong>of</strong> application, the operator will have arrangements for all base andscheduled line maintenance in place for an appropriate period <strong>of</strong> time, asJuly 2012 Page 73
