When hardware- or s<strong>of</strong>tware-changes take place specialcare will be taken that all necessary data continues to be accessible at least throughthe full period specified in Para 5.3 and/or Para 5.57. Record-keeping (AMC M.B.104 (f))The cases, when records will be made available will be limited to:- incidents or accidents,- findings through the aircraft continuing monitoring program where organisationsapproved by another CAAN are involved, to determine the root cause,8. Responsibilities (NCAR M.B.201)The CAAN as specified in AMC M.1 are responsible for conducting inspections andinvestigations in order to verify that the requirements <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Part</strong> are complied with.9. Maintenance programme (NCAR M.B.301)9.1 The CAAN will verify that the maintenance programme is in compliance withM.A.302.9.2 Except where stated otherwise in point M.A.302(c) the maintenance programme andits amendments will be approved directly by the CAAN.9.3 In the case <strong>of</strong> indirect approval, the maintenance programme procedure will beapproved by the CAAN through the continuing airworthiness managementexposition.9.4 In order to approve a maintenance programme according to Para 9.2, the CAAN willhave access to all the data required in points NCAR M.A. 302(d), (e) and (f).Para 9.1, Maintenance programme, For the CAAN to verify compliance with NCARM.A.302, the auditing surveyor/inspector will have received training on maintenanceprogramme development and control.10. Maintenance Programme (AMC M.B.301 (b))10.1 When assessing aircraft maintenance programmes for approval, the CAAN willverify that the maintenance programme is acceptable for the continuedairworthiness <strong>of</strong> the specific aircraft listed and it is appropriate for the proposedoperating environment and scheduled utilisation.10.2 The CAAN will assess the contents taking into account the origins <strong>of</strong> the documenti.e. the manufacturers recommended maintenance programme, a MRB report, theoperators own experience or another approved programme.July 2012 Page 63
