Conversion report for CAAN qualifications (NCAR 66.B.305)The report will describe the scope of each type of qualification and show to whichaircraft maintenance licence it will be converted, which limitation will be added andthe NCAR-66 module/subjects on which examination is needed to ensure conversionto the aircraft maintenance licence without limitation, or to include an additional (sub)category. The report will include a copy of the existing regulation defining the licencecategories and scopes.10. Conversion report for approved maintenance organisations authorizations (NCAR66.B.310)For each approved maintenance organisation concerned, the report will describe thescope of each type of authorization and show to which aircraft maintenance licence itwill be converted, which limitation will be added and the module/subjects on whichexamination is needed to convert to the licence, or to include an additional (sub-)category. The report will include a copy of the relevant approved maintenanceorganisation's procedures for the qualification of certifying staff, on which theconversion process is based.11. General (NCAR 66.B.400)11.1 CAA Nepal may only grant examination credit on the basis of an examination creditreport prepared in accordance with NCAR 66.B.405.11.2 The examination credit report must be either developed by CAA Nepal or approved byCAA Nepal.12. Examination credit report (NCAR 66.B.400)12.1 For each technical qualification concerned the report will identify the subject matterand knowledge levels contained in Appendix I to this NCAR-66 relevant to theparticular category being compared.12.2 The report will include a statement of compliance against each subject stating where,in the technical qualification, the equivalent standard can be found. If there is noequivalent standard for the particular subject, the report will state such facts.12.3 Based upon Para 12.2 comparison, the report will indicate for each technicalqualification concerned the Appendix I subject matters subject to examinationcredits.12.4 Where the CAAN qualification standard is changed, the report will be amended asnecessary.July 2012 Page 40
