In thisloop, the device repeatedly flashes the yellow fault LED to indicate the specific faultencountered. If the device is reset or power cycled while in fault mode, it re-enters faultmode upon power up. To exit fault mode, the fault must be acknowledged by holding thepower button down until the fault LED stops flashing. This could be due to a"pinched" or disconnected pressure sense tube. This could alsobe due to faulty pressure sensor or electronics.While delivering therapy, the pressure sensor measuredapproximately 0 cmH2O. This could be due to an open outputhose. This could also be due to a "pinched" or disconnectedpressure sense tube. This could also be due to faulty pressuresensor or electronics.An attempt was made to set the device real time clock (RTC)to an invalid value. The device RTC is configured as part of themanufacturing process, thus this error should only occur then.While in standby, the pressure sensor read a value outside itsexpected range. This could be due to a "pinched" or blockedpressure sense tube. This could also be due to faulty pressuresensor or electronics.At power up, the device calculates a checksum of the firmwarecode and compares it against the checksum it calculated whenit was initially programmed. This error indicates some part ofthe firmware has been corrupted. Likely causes would beelectrostatic discharge or hardware problem.While delivering therapy, the device failed to detect anyblower motion for 2 seconds. This is likely due to a faultyblower motor, loose blower connector or faulty electronics.While delivering therapy, the device determined that theblower was stalled (see above). However, a check of thevoltage indicates there may not be sufficient power to spin theblower. This is likely due to a faulty power supply or battery.The processor on-chip temperature sensor has reported anexcessive temperature.The blower thermistor has reported an excessive temperature.* If this fault occurs, check all tubes and hoses to ensure that they are properly connected. If the faultoccurred during therapy, make sure the mask is properly fitted and not leaking. Check that all filters areproperly installed and not excessively dirty.

The deviceattempts to continue to deliver therapy. The alert is anindication that filters and the mask should be inspectedfor cleanliness and proper fit.Filter Media change reminderEvery six months, the green LED flashes as a reminder that the Filter Media should bechanged. The LED only flashes when the CPAP is in Standby Mode. The CPAP willcontinue to function normally. The reminder may be acknowledged in a manner similar toacknowledging a fault (hold down the power button until the green LED stops flashing).Acknowledging the reminder resets the reminder timer, that is it will flash again in sixmonths. The reminder should be acknowledged in conjunction with changing the filter.
