Page 16Transcend Sleep Apnea Therapy User ManualAssembling the Transcend SystemThe mask interface connects to Transcend via the air supply tube. One end of the airsupply tube attaches to the outlet port of Transcend via the Universal Hose Adaptor. Theopposite end of the tube attaches to a mating fitting on the interface.Assembling the Transcend SystemFollow these steps to assemble the Transcend System:1. Attach the Universal Hose Adaptorto the 6-foot air supply tube (Figure1).2. Connect the mask to the oppositeend of the air supply tube.3. Connect the Universal Hose Adaptorto Transcend making sure it is fullyseated into the CPAP (Figure 2).4. Plug the power supply intoTranscend as shown in Figure 3.5. Connect power supply to a walloutlet.123
