Core Essential for February
For the month of February our Core Essential character trait is KINDESS.
Students will participate in lessons to encourage kindness.
KINDNESS: Showing others they are valuable
by how you treat them
If something is valuable like a treasure chest – you spend all your attention
making sure it is ok, safe, feels loved and is taken care of. Kindness is
kind of that way.
The definition of our value this month is showing others they are valuable
by how you treat them. It’s just like comparing the people around you to
treasure chests. When you are KIND and see them as valuable like a
treasure chest, you remember that you need to treat them with special care
– like the precious and special people they are! Look around this week for
people you can show KINDNESS to. Treat them like a treasure.
