<strong>FGX</strong> <strong>wheel</strong> <strong>modification</strong> <strong>f<strong>or</strong></strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>F104</strong> <strong>Shimizu</strong> <strong>Racing</strong> (<strong>PS</strong>-<strong>0572</strong>) <strong>or</strong> Tamiya(1032)The <strong>FGX</strong> <strong>wheel</strong> diameter is too small to mount <strong>the</strong> <strong>F104</strong> <strong>Shimizu</strong> tire; <strong>the</strong> gapbetween <strong>the</strong> <strong>wheel</strong> and tire is 2.5 mm. I found that <strong>the</strong> sink mat is 2.5 mm thick andis made out of rubber. This process is perfect <strong>f<strong>or</strong></strong> <strong>the</strong> project and this method can beapplied to <strong>the</strong> front <strong>wheel</strong>s as well.Here are things to need.1_SINKWORKS 36660 Small Sink Mat Black2_<strong>FGX</strong> Rear <strong>wheel</strong> (<strong>FGX</strong>-121)3_<strong>F104</strong> <strong>Shimizu</strong> <strong>Racing</strong> (<strong>PS</strong>-<strong>0572</strong>) <strong>or</strong> Tamiya (1032)4_Super glue “THIN”5_Curved Lexan sciss<strong>or</strong>sCut <strong>the</strong> rubber mat:Length: 132mm “Trim as needed.”Width: 3mmRemove <strong>the</strong> dimples with raz<strong>or</strong> blade.
The rubber strip is mounted to <strong>the</strong> <strong>wheel</strong>; remove <strong>the</strong> masking tapes after <strong>the</strong> glue iscured.The tire liner is jointed with <strong>the</strong> masking tape.
