If you have ever considered res<strong>to</strong>ring or placing dental implants or even if you would like<strong>to</strong> improve your knowledge then this free introduc<strong>to</strong>ry day is a great opportunity <strong>to</strong> find out more.The course will include;An overview of the various treatment options when using dental implantsIdentifying suitable patients and possible risk fac<strong>to</strong>rsImportance of implant treatment planningAn overview of the surgical and res<strong>to</strong>rative aspects of implant dentistryHands on placement and res<strong>to</strong>ration of implants on modelsHow implants can benefit your patients and your practiceAdvancements in dental implant technology5 hours verifiable CPDThe course will take place on Friday the 8 th February in Swansea as well as Friday the 22nd of Marchin Cardiff. Spaces will be limited <strong>to</strong> 15 people on each day <strong>to</strong> facilitate the practical sessions. Lunchand refreshments will be provided on the day.Lecturer: Dr David GuyDavid is the principal of a referral implant practice in Cardiff. He was awarded a Distinction in hisMSc in Implant Dentistry from Warwick University. He qualified from Cardiff where he was awardedthe Wystan Peach prize for Res<strong>to</strong>rative Dentistry. He has been awarded a Fellowship of the BritishSociety of Oral Implan<strong>to</strong>logy. He is on the committee of the British Society of Oral Implan<strong>to</strong>logy. Hecompleted a Certificate in Res<strong>to</strong>rative Dentistry at the Eastman <strong>Dental</strong> Institute, University CollegeLondon.
