viiThe development of the Science Frameworkinvolved the effort, dedication, and expertiseof many individuals. The original draft ofthe framework was prepared between October1998 and December 2000 by the Science CurriculumFramework and Criteria Committee(CFCC), a diverse group that included teachersand school administrators, university faculty,representatives of the business community, andparents (guardians) of students in publicschools.
