SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATIONSEnvironmental CertificationWhether for new build or for existing buildings, GSE has developed an expertisein the certification requirements, utilising the principal market labels, whichallows the environmental criteria to be fully integrated in the turnkey contractcommitments:■ LEED■ Green Rating in Europe: GSE is involved as part of the evaluation committeefor the logistics buildings module■ HQE in France: GSE has participated in the creation of a reference documentconcerning use of the label NF bâtiment tertiaire Plateforme LogistiqueDurable - Démarche HQE■ BREEAM in the United Kingdom■ DGNB in GermanyGSE has taken an original position which consists of having a highly integratedapproach for environmental performance from the early design phase meaningthat environmental certification can be incorporated in the total cost and in anoptimised and controlled time frame.GSE has, notably, developed fully certifiable building concepts such as theCécodia ® and MODULOG ® buildings.Relying extensively on its internal expertise but also on a network of externalpartners, with GSE, environmental certification is no longer a constraint but areal opportunity to bring added value to each project in terms of both image andeconomy.>53
