Thesearch for optimisation, whether ecologic or economic, has always been astrong value of the group and this is a key element in the anticipation ofnew regulations.As a natural result of its experience but also through the activity of itsResearch & Development department, GSE contributes at a very earlystage to the definition of environmental performance criteria andparticipates in the preparation of technical benchmarks for theenvironmental certification of professional buildings in countries whereGSE is actively present.Beyond the commitment of GSE in favour of sustainable developmentwhich is particularly evidenced by its support for the Global Compact,there is the desire to lead the way for regulations concerning the reductionof the environmental impact of non residential buildings.>51
