HOW CAN I ACCESS THE <strong>APIs</strong>• Write programs to consume the <strong>APIs</strong> directly– Tools are available in almost every programminglanguage g to help build clients for Web Services <strong>APIs</strong>– The <strong>APIs</strong> support both of the most common protocols:SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) and REST(Representational State Transfer)– Future developments will add JSON and SPARQLprotocolsrs.©2 2011 Thomson Reuter• Build systems without programming using “pipelinebuilder” tools– We are building components for Accelrys’ Pipeline Pilot– Similar components could be built for InforSense (IDBS),KNIME, etc.14
