Livestock and cropping farms areeven more likely to be singleoperatorbusinesses than dairyfarms. Over 80 per cent of livestockand cropping farms have noemployees apart from the owner,as shown in figure 21.Many rural districts in the <strong>Waikato</strong>region have a high location quotientfor livestock and croppingbusinesses compared with thenational average, as illustrated infigure 22.
