The Steps For A Picture Perfect Restoration With A GingiHue ® PostStep 1The implant integration and tissue maturation arecomplete. The pre-prepared GingiHue Post,matching the emergence profile of the soft tissue,can now be placed.Step 2The Certain ® GingiHue Post uses a CertainGold-Tite ® Screw, torqued to 20Ncm. The externallyhexed GingiHue Post uses a Gold-Tite Screw,torqued to 32–35Ncm. The GingiHue Post isgold-colored, not gray, yielding a more natural andaesthetic result in the region between the top of theimplant and the crown margin.Step 3The Prep-Tite ® Cap is placed using temporarycement. In addition to protecting surroundingtissue, the cap also provides tissue retraction forsimplifying direct impressioning.Step 4With the healing cap removed, the abutment isprepared using similar techniques as with a naturaltooth. If substantial adjustments are required,extra-oral preparation using an abutment holder isan option. Impression-taking is also done byconventional methods.
