The quantitative impacts on NYSEG facilities include:910111213141516171819202122An increase by between 45 to 82 substations to meet the new standard.Currently, there are 20 substations that required upgrades to meet the CIP(CIP-002-1 through CIP-009-1).Improvements to between 45 and 82 NYSEG substations to meet the PRCStandards. This work includes control house expansions, separation of cablesystems, addition of battery banks and chargers relay additions, breaker, tripcoil, and current transformer additions.Under an expanded 100 kV bright line definition, NYSEG would also need tocomply with Transmission Operator Standards ("TOP"). Under the currentstandard, the NYISO is the operator of the defined BPS in New York State.Under the new definition, NYSEG would face additional coordination,monitoring and reporting for NYSEG System Operations.A series of capital projects will be required to meet the expandedTransmission Planning Standards ("TPL") (TPL-001-0 through TPL-003-0)50
