At UXPin, we’re trying to be as agile as we possiblycan. We launch new versions of our user experiencedesign app every couple of days. Some features staywith us for good, some are killed soon after the launch, and some are improved in time to meet our (and ourusers’) expectations. We accept constant change and anever-ending quest for improvement. Let me explainthe basic tenets of our approach and tell you how to useit in your startup. The golden ruleWhen I used to work as an in-house UX manager,my UX team had one golden rule: “a designer neverleaves a project”. We meant that the launch of a newproduct/feature doesn’t authorise anyone to have acrazy celebration. No champagne, no running aboutnaked, no dancing around. There’s nothing to drinkto or jump for joy. Launching a product is just anopportunity to measure your users’ behaviour, learnfrom it and optimise the design. It’s a time for crucialGet it optimised103
