SECTION 4Minimum TV Cabling RequirementsTV MechsAll TV outlets are to be F-Type – F-Type Connectors (part number 30PFM). The Clipsal 30PFM is a straight throughconnector. This connector has excellent electrical performance and minimal losses. This connector allows IR to passthrough for the remote control IR engine built into the Clipsal StarServe ® VDU.Failure to use the30PFM may result inthe infrared controlto fail.30PFMF-Type ConnectorsTV Fly LeadsClipsal has F-Type to PAL fl y leads in its range to suit Clipsal StarServe ® installations.Fly leads are the weakest point in any TV system. Fly leads are subjected to being twisted and tangled with powercords behind TV entertainment units.
