One-third of that is in thehome (we hope), but the other third isusually spent with friends socializing,engaging in extra-curricular activities, andpreparing for the next school day. Manychildren do not have the opportunity touse this time productively or creatively,and thus find themselves bored, whichoften leads to trouble or poor decisionmaking.• English as a Second Language (ESL)Classes. In response to the growingHispanic population, EPN will offer ESLclasses.
