Ziff Campus,as we continue to meet the expanding needs of our North Miami-Dade and surrounding community.Towards that goal, YOU spoke and WE listened… and WE addressed YOUR concerns to remedy the parking challenges that wehad been facing as a result of our broadened scope of programming and services to which you responded in a resounding way. Now, with approximately 120 additional parking spaces, we are confident that our immediate parking needs have been met andthat ample parking will be available to accomodate the 3,500 people who access our Center on a daily basis.Excitement continues to build as we “close in” on meeting our campaign goal to complete the next phase of our CampusExpansion Project…the construction of the George Feldenkreis Cultural Arts and Education Center, that will allow us to enhanceour offerings to YOU in the world of the arts, health and fitness, and social and cultural programming. Our Capital CampaignCommittee is working diligently to raise the last 20% of our campaign goal so that construction may begin in the not too distantfuture. Naming opportunities are available and if interested, we ask that you contact our Development Director, Elizabeth Mitrani,at 305-932-400, ext. 114. At the same time, we encourage participation in this campaign from all segments of our MAR-JCCfamily – remember, no gift is too large or too small. And perhaps most exciting, is what you will find in the pages that follow…a very eclectic range of classes, programs, activities, and services designed to bring enrichment and enjoyment to you and your family. With offerings for 2 month-olds to 102 (andeven older), our goal remains to impact upon all segments of our diverse community while perpetuating our rich cultural heritageand furthering our relationship with the State of Israel. For us, the success of our MAR-JCC revolves around the creativity, hard-work, and professionalism of our staff combined withthe commitment and dedication of a dynamic lay leadership and volunteer corps. Without this partnership, we would not haveexperienced the kind of rapid growth that we have experienced over the course of recent years. To expand upon this, we inviteyou to become a part of this partnership and join us as WE work hand-in-hand to truly become a Center of Excellence. We look forward to seeing you here in the days, weeks, and months ahead to take advantage of our wonderful facilities, programs, and two restaurants…or to simply “hang out” and socialize in a wholesome family environment. As Rosh Hashana draws upon us, we hope that 5774 will provide you and your loved ones with good health, happiness, andprosperity, in a world that will be filled with peace, compassion, and understanding.Shana Tova U’metuka – may we all be blessed with a sweet New Year!Sincerely,Ariel BentataChairman of the BoardGary J.
