Cranberry diseases were imported together with theplants. The diseases of cranberry, inter alia berry rots were not investigated in Latvia until recently.218

Some plant tests were made inthe State Service of Plant Protection, Quarantine department. Our investigation was carried out inthe cranberry bog “Kalna purvs”, Aluksne region. Fungi were identified in the Latvian PlantProtection Research Centre and Institute of Soil and Plant Sciences of LUA. The morphologicalproperties of the colony, dimensions and peculiarities of spores were described. The mostimportant production losses were caused by rot. They appeared in the field and developed afterharvesting and in storage. During the harvest (13.10.06.) rotten berries were on average 1.7 %.After a months storage (22.11.06.) at room temperature (18 o – 20 o C) the damage level was 8.4 %,but in 28.12.06. - 43.5 %. The visual symptoms of damage were different – black, yellow, pale redto dark red rots and different speckles. Some berries were soft and watery. Allantophomopsis spp.,Physalospora vaccinii and Botryosphaeria vaccinii were identified. It is necessary to continueinvestigations for the further identification of causal agents of berry rots and clarify thepeculiarities of disease development.Key wordsCranberry diseases, berry rot, storage rot, identificationIevadsLielogu dzērvenes (Oxycoccus macrocarpon) ir mūžzaĜš Ericaceae dzimtas krūms, kuršcēlies no ziemeĜaustrumu Amerikas purviem. Latvijas klimats ir piemērots lielogu dzērveĦuaudzēšanai, taču šādi apstākĜi (mērena temperatūra, lietus, vējš, mitrs gaiss, u.c.) veicina arī slimībuattīstību. Lielogu dzērveĦu slimības rada ekonomiskus zaudējumus ogu ražotājiem, taču LatvijādzērveĦu slimības gandrīz nav pētītas, slimību ierosinātāji nav precīzi identificēti. PeriodikādzērveĦu slimības ir pieminējis A. Ripa (Ripa, 1996.), atsevišėu paraugu analīzes veiktas VAADKarantīnas departamentā, taču zinātniskas publikācijas Latvijā nav bijušas.Slimības var bojāt dzinumus, lapas, ziedus, saknes un visvairāk ogas, kas ir ražas kvalitātesun kvantitātes faktors. Dažas ogu puves attīstās galvenokārt uz lauka, bet vairums tikai pēc ražasvākšanas, glabātavās.Lielogu dzērveĦu ogu agrās puves (ier. Phyllosticta vaccinii) pazīmes jau aprakstītas 1897.gadā, kad arī aizsākta šo dzērveĦu slimību izpēte (Eglitis et al., 1966.).ASV austrumu štatos biežāk izplatītākās slimības veăetācijas laikā ir ogu galotnes jebriĦėveida puve (ier. Godronia cassandrae), rūgtā jeb gleosporiozā puve (ier. Colletotrichumacutatum un C. gloeosporiodes), ogu cietā puve (ier. Monilinia oxycocci) – izĦemot Mičiganasštatā, agrā puve (ier. Phyllosticta vaccinii), viskozā ogu puve (ier. Diaporthe vaccinii) un oguplankumainības, kuras ierosina gan Protoventuria myrtilli, gan Physalospora vaccinii (izraisa arīogu agro puvi). Glabāšanas laikā galvenokārt ogu melnā puve (ier. Strasseria geniculata,Allantophomopsis cytisporea un A. lycopodina), gatavā ogu puve (ier. Coleophoma empetri) unogu plankumainība (ier. Physalospora vaccinii). (Hanson et al., 1999., McManus 2001., Oudemanset al., 1998., Caruso et al., 1995.)ZiemeĜu rajonos uz ogām galvenokārt izplatīta agrā puve (ier. Phyllosticta vaccinii) un rūgtājeb gleosporiozā puve, kuru ierosina Glomerella cingulata, anamorfā stadijā Colletotrichum spp.(Oudemans et al., 1998., Caruso et al., 1995.).Kanādā izplatītākās ogu puves ir: agrā puve (ier. Phyllosticta elongata), ogu cietā puve(ier. Monilinia oxycocci), ogu plankumainība (ier. Botryosphaeria vaccinii), ogu galotnes jebriĦėveida puve (ier. Godronia cassandrae), melno ogu puve (ier. Allantophomopsis spp.), rūgtā jebgleosporiozā puve (ier. Glomerella cingulata). Botrytis cinerea), ogu melnā puve (ier.Allantophomopsis spp.), rūgtā jeb gleosporiozā puve (ier. Glomerella cingulata), ogu galotnes jebriĦėveida puve (ier. Godronia cassandrae), ogu cietā puve (ier. Monilinia oxycocci), agrā puve (ier.Phyllosticta vaccinii). (Гopлeнкo et al., 1996.)Lietuvā 2002. gadā Radvilišėu apkaimē pirmo reizi identificēts Diaporthe vaccinii, kasierosina vertikālo dzinumu galu atmiršanu un viskozo ogu puvi.
