Dunsley Highlander-3The Highlander-3 has been designed togive you cleaner burn and superbefficiency.The Highlander-3 has interchangeabletop or rear flue outlets fitted asstandard, to take 125mm flue pipe.pattern, created as the flames rise tomeet the incoming air, thus causingsecondary combustion to take place.Its slim appearance and air wash gives it anappearance to be desired. The air washand primary air controls are designed to beprecisely controlled, to allow maximumefficiency to be obtained and controloutputs to your requirements.The Highlander-3 is also fitted as standardwith a superb shaker grate. This enableslogs or any other solid fuel to be burnt atmaximum efficiency and is very easy andclean to operate.A non shaker grate model is also available,with the design advantages of theHighlander-3 but without the shakermechanism. This gives you a very goodstove at a reduced price. You will of coursehave to de-ash as required with thehooked poker provided.The Highlander-3 is available withmatching canopy, on request. The same metallic blackfinish; airwash system; and matching shakergrate system, only slightly smaller but can stilltake large logs up to 280mm long. Solid brasshandles as standard, with black or polishedcast handles available on request. TheHighlander-5 comes in either SL-Short Legsor HL-High Legs variants both can be fittedwith a canopy.The Highlander-5 is different from theHighlander-7 as follows - the overall size issmaller, this has enabled the design of thedoor to be altered, so that on theHighlander-5 there is only one door to openfor re-fuelling and removing ashes. This alsomeans that the safety precaution to preventoverfiring is automatically provided for.Highlander 5HL (High Legs)HOW IT WORKSThe Highlander-5 has two combustioncontrols exactly as the Highlander-7. Dunsley Highlander-8Now available as a Highlander-8-Solothenew single door model and as the standardtwo door options. The Highlander-8 has awide door opening and large fire bedcapacity, enables you to load the fire boxwith good sized logs of up to 460mm or 18”length.The highlander-8 has an air wash systemdesigned to keep the glass clean by divertinga warm flow of air directly over the surface ofthe glass. Each door has its own primary aircontrols. This controls the amount of fuelbeing burnt and can also be closed down forovernight burning of fossil fuels.With a heat output of 7 - 8 kW maximum theHighlander-8 will heat a medium to largeroom.The grate mechanism can be adjusted forburning wood or other solid fuels including:peat, coal and coal briquettes.Using the correct rate of burning efficienciesof up to 78% on wood logs and 75% on ancitcan be obtained.Dunsley Highlander-10New for this season the Highlander-10-Solo the single door version of thestandard two door options. The Highlander10 is a wide version of the 8 model.
