<strong>ANO</strong> <strong>145</strong>-APPROVED MAINTENANCE ORGANISATIONSChapter 2: Acceptable Means of ComplianceAMC <strong>145</strong>.A.45 (g) Maintenance Data1. To keep data up to date a procedure should be set up to monitor the amendment statusof all data and maintain a check that all amendments are being received by being asubscriber to any document amendment scheme. Special attention should be given toTC related data such as certification life limited parts, airworthiness limitations andAirworthiness Limitation Items (ALI), etc.2. Data being made available to personnel maintaining aircraft means that the data shouldbe available in close proximity to the aircraft being maintained, for supervisors,mechanics and certifying staff to study.3. Where computer systems are used, the number of computer terminals should besufficient in relation to the size of the work programme to enable easy access, unlessthe computer system can produce paper copies. Where microfilm or microfichereaders/printers are used, a similar requirement is applicable.AMC <strong>145</strong>.A.47 (a) Production Planning1. Depending on the amount and complexity of work generally performed by themaintenance organisation, the planning system may range from a very simpleprocedure to a complex organisational set-up including a dedicated planning function insupport of the production function.2. For the purpose of <strong>ANO</strong> <strong>145</strong>, the production planning function includes twocomplementary elements:− scheduling the maintenance work ahead, to ensure that it will not adversely interferewith other work as regards the availability of all necessary personnel, tools,equipment, material, maintenance data and facilities.− during maintenance work, organising maintenance teams and shifts and provide allnecessary support to ensure the completion of maintenance without undue timepressure.3. When establishing the production planning procedure, consideration should be given tothe following:− logistics,− inventory control,− square meters of accommodation,− man-hours estimation,− man-hours availability,− preparation of work,− hangar availability,<strong>15</strong>/<strong>01</strong>/2<strong>01</strong>3 2-20 <strong>ANO</strong>-<strong>145</strong>-<strong>AWRG</strong>-<strong>1.1</strong>
