Catalog HY33-2373/USTechnical dataLS60 SensorsApplicationThe LS60 sensor belongs to the family of accessoriesprovided to complement electronic control systems. The LS60 is a solid state level dual axis level sensorfor mobile hydraulic applications. Plastic components, internal contacts, and concentricity have been greatlyenhanced over previous versions, resulting in superiortrip accuracy and reliability. The height has been reduced, and O-ring seals have been added top and bottom toensure hermeticity necessary to survive the harshestconditions. Custom X and Y trip angles can be createdquickly and with minimal expense.PropertiesReliabilityThe LS60 has a glass-filled nylon plastic constructionfor strength and corrosion resistance. The sensor usesnon-contact technology for trouble free operation. Monthsof rigorous product testing were conducted prior to finaltooling to ensure the highest level of reliability under themost demanding conditions. 100% on-line automatedtrip angle and timing test equipment assures sensoraccuracy. All electronics are tested under load prior tofinal assembly..InstallationThe LS60 is well designed for the mobile hydraulicsindustry. The standard top-mounted bubble level makescalibration easy, and the new mounting bracket offersadditional mounting options. As with earlier LS models, a variety of terminationsare available for the standard 12” long wires. Otherwire lengths may be specified. Easy visual angleconfirmations are possible via colored top rings.units=inch2 Parker Hannifin CorporationElectronic Controls DivisionWinnipeg, MB, Canada
