Targeting Footprint Selection by Technology in the Allegro PCB Editor

3 Control LevelsExclude - This is the default mode and is used on all newdesigns. It keeps only the user specified matches. Allother symbols are removed from the pstchip.dat file. Thisoption prevents any non-preferred symbols from beingplaced in the design.Include - This is a legacy mode that is available for olddesigns which may contain a mix of technologies but theuser does not want to change any existing footprints. Theuser can still order the footprints so the correct footprint isavailable on the cursor but it will not change any parts thatare already placed.
