They meet the following frameworkconditions: 100 % of the village's supply comes frompower generated with renewables At least 5 % of the heat provision is basedon biomass More than 50 % of the bioenergy plantis owned by the "heat customers" andfarmers who provide the biomass The population of the village is generallybetween 500 and 1500 residentsPartial solutions withbioenergy systems are possibleAlongside "full" bioenergy villages, numerousconcepts have been developed in whichonly part of a town or village is supplied bybioenergy systems.
