Extended register groups<br />

INTRODUCTION<br />

The DMC 2 hardware and s<strong>of</strong>tware, such as the resolver or the regulator, are<br />

divided into groups. Each group has members where the various values and/or bits<br />

can be manipulated by a PL2 program. Hardware and s<strong>of</strong>tware functions are<br />

accessible via a group’s members. Group members are implemented as extended<br />

registers, Xreg, thereby allowing arithmetic to be performed on them.<br />
