ABFBus 63 Fieldbus specific information from the Anybus-S<br />

modules.<br />

GENERAL<br />

The content <strong>of</strong> this area is fieldbus specific. This is an array <strong>of</strong> 8bit bytes. It is the<br />

fieldbus specific area. The manual, (Anybus-S interface manual) referes to this as<br />

beeing located at 0x640 (hexadecimal) and also specifies positions into this area in<br />

the manual as absolute. To find the ABFBus member based on an absolute<br />

specification from the manual then simply subtract0x640 from the specification.<br />

Example:<br />

The DeviceNet module has "Explicit Connection" status at 0x642, 0x642-0x640 =<br />

0x2.<br />

ABFBus.2 contains "Explicit Connection" status.<br />

Note. Only the first 255 bytes are available out o 384 bytes.<br />

Some fieldbus types does not provide any information in this area,<br />

Pr<strong>of</strong>iBus-S Area not used.<br />
