Comm, Serial communication<br />
EXTENDED REGISTER GROUPS<br />
Comm.Node takes effect immediately. If an EEstore is done after,<br />
the new setting is valid after a power up; otherwise, the old value<br />
remains valid.<br />
To change the node number immediately to 3:<br />
>Comm.Node, 3<br />
To change the node number used when the DMC 2 is powered up<br />
to 3:<br />
>BCLR EEprom.6, 15<br />
>OR EEprom.6, 3<br />
>EEStore<br />
Comm.TLines 3 0..256 RW<br />
The number <strong>of</strong> lines displayed sequentially when many lines will<br />
follow. After Comm.TLines is displayed, the system prompts the<br />
user to continue. The user has the option <strong>of</strong> pressing the space<br />
bar for another screen page, or the ENTER key for one line at<br />
the time. Pressing Q terminates the listing.<br />
Comm.Rdy 4 0..1 R<br />
Indicates if the serial communication is busy handling a Csend<br />
instruction and if a computer mode session is active.<br />
Bit 0: 1: Csend is Idle<br />
0: Csend is Busy<br />
Bit 1: 1: Computer mode Idle<br />
Typical use:<br />
0: Computer mode Busy (start <strong>of</strong> record received)<br />
Wait Comm.Rdy and 2 ;wait for idle condition<br />
Csend R7 ;send the message<br />
Wait Comm.Rdy and 1 ;wait for message to be sent<br />
