GENERAL<br />

EXTENDED REGISTER GROUPS<br />

The digital outputs are normally activated by the system whenever an instruction to<br />

do so is executed. This function can be modified such that the actual timing <strong>of</strong><br />

output changes is synchronized to a precise time in the servo cycle. This provides<br />

the capability to synchronize outputs between several DMC 2 ’s.<br />

FUNCTION<br />

Out.Do1...Do6 Each output,<br />

Do1 trough Fault, can be handled individually via<br />

bit registers. They can also be accessed in parallel with the<br />

Out.PDO register.<br />

Out.JamRS Can be handled individually via bit registers.<br />

Out.Fault Can be handled individually via bit registers.<br />

Out.Level The outputs can be individually inverted by setting the<br />

corresponding bit in the Out.Level register. This capability can<br />

be used for easy adaptation to external actuators such as<br />

magnetic valves or similar devices.<br />

Out.SyncMask The Out.SyncMask enables each output to be synchronized to<br />

the servo cycle.<br />
