NOAA ORR andRIDOLFI Inc.Final Data Report for theVieques Island Biota Sampling ProjectJuly 2006 Page 17The principal measures associated with data quality are precision, accuracy, representativeness, completeness, and comparability. An evaluation of each of these measures determined that overallanalytical performance and data quality are acceptable (see Appendix D for more detail).During data evaluation, it became evident that trace element analyses associated with onepreparation batch of land crab exoskeletons actually represented crab soft tissue, not theexoskeleton. Archived samples from this batch were reprepared and reanalyzed; the revised resultsare consistent with other exoskeleton results. Details regarding reanalysis of the land crabexoskeleton samples are provided in Appendix G.Vieques_Crab_Sampling_Rpt_final_060725.doc
