Her 10 triples led thenation <strong>in</strong> 20<strong>13</strong>. The <strong>Gator</strong> secondbaseman and USA Junior NationalTeam member was a NFCA All-Southeast Region second-teamselection. She eclipsed a numberof UF freshman records and set UFs<strong>in</strong>gle-season records for stolenbases (36) and attempts (39). Stewartwas first <strong>in</strong> the SEC <strong>in</strong> triples, second<strong>in</strong> hits and double plays, third <strong>in</strong> stolenbases/attempts and fourth <strong>in</strong> assists.CDC. One of UF’s two All-Americans,Lauren Haeger paced theSoutheastern Conference <strong>in</strong> RBI,ranked third <strong>in</strong> the SEC <strong>in</strong> walks andfourth <strong>in</strong> home runs. Haeger f<strong>in</strong>ishedthe season 17th <strong>in</strong> the nation <strong>in</strong>homers and 37th <strong>in</strong> walks. Additionally,Haeger had six w<strong>in</strong>s aga<strong>in</strong>st top-25opponents <strong>in</strong> the circle, f<strong>in</strong>ish<strong>in</strong>g theyear 16-2. She connected for as<strong>in</strong>gle-season school-record sevenRBI aga<strong>in</strong>st South Florida <strong>in</strong> NCAARegional play.D. <strong>Gator</strong> head coach Tim Waltonpicked up Southeastern ConferenceCoach of the <strong>Year</strong> honors for thefourth time <strong>in</strong> his eight-year tenure atthe helm of the UF program. Alreadythe w<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>gest coach <strong>in</strong> <strong>Gator</strong> softballhistory, Walton notched w<strong>in</strong> No. 400at UF on March 2.
