It has a distinctive, uniformlysmooth and satin-like appearance. Atranslucent product, it admits lightwhilst providing obscuration andvision control.On request <strong>SGG</strong> PARSOL body-tintedglass can also be etched to producecoloured <strong>SGG</strong> SATINOVO.<strong>SGG</strong> SATINOVO is intended primarily forinterior applications and offers thesame benefits of flexibility ofprocessing and installation, durabilityand maintenance as ordinary floatglass.Advantages<strong>SGG</strong> SATINOVO can be used to createstunning aesthetic effects, diffusinglight and emitting a certain purity ofcolour and light.In both interior screens and externalglazing, <strong>SGG</strong> SATINOVO provides privacyby obscuring unwanted attention anddistractions, without compromisinglight levels. It has similar lighttransmittance levels as the equivalentthickness of ordinary float glass.Thanks to its satin-smooth surface,<strong>SGG</strong> SATINOVO does not mark with dirtand finger prints for example, asreadily as traditional etched andsandblasted glasses.A low maintenance product, anysurface marks that may eventuallyform are easily removed, facilitatinginstallation and longevity ofappearance. These properties areinherent to the glass – no additionalsurface treatments are required.As an annealed glass, <strong>SGG</strong> SATINOVOcan be cut, drilled, notched,edgeworked, bevelled, screen-printed,toughened and laminated as ordinaryclear float glass.2 • <strong>SGG</strong> SATINOVO
