In this way, it fulfi lsthe ergonomic requirements of modernoffi ce work. In an upright sitting position,the head and spine are naturallybalanced. But when the sitter leans back,most conventional offi ce chairs do notprovide suffi cient support, resulting instrain and tension in the neck andshoulders.HeadLine solves this problem: the fl exible,elongated backrest hangs from articulatedjoints at the support points for thelower back and neck. In the uprightposition, primary support is given to thelumbar zone. When the sitter leans back,the shoulders sink into the back panel andthe upper backrest extension tilts forwardto support the head.
