Campbell High School <strong>Summer</strong> Work <strong>Packet</strong>2013-2014 <strong>Rising</strong> 9 th gradersDear Students,Our goal is your success in mathematics.This is your summer work packet. ALL students entering 9 th grade in thefall of 2013 are required to finish this packet of work. You will turn in thecompleted packet by August 16th to your math teacher or the departmentchair. It will be graded for accuracy and completeness.If you are enrolled in a math course for the Fall Semester, you will take amultiple choice pre-test assessing your ability to answer questions similar tothe ones in the review packet on August 16 th .If you are enrolled in a math course in the Spring Semester, you will take amultiple choice pre-test assessing your ability to answer questions similar tothe ones in the review packet on January 10 th . You will have theopportunity to sharpen your skills using our tutoring programs – USATestprep and Study Island. You will hear more about those sites once theschool year begins.Please be diligent and not just do the problems but understand them.Tutoring websites such as purplemath.com and khanacademy.com offeronline help to assist you.We hope you enjoy your summer as you become ready for success!Wishing you all the best!The <strong>Math</strong> Department
