Converting Voltage from/to Binary DataCONVERTING ANALOG INPUT BINARY DATA TO VOLTAGEThe input voltage converted by <strong>the</strong> analog-to-digital converter is represented in a 16-bitdata word by ei<strong>the</strong>r 12 or 14 binary bits plus a sign bit, as shown in Figure E-1, dependingon <strong>the</strong> amplifier range selected and <strong>the</strong> read command used. The voltage value that eachbinary bit represents for a particular range is called <strong>the</strong> resolution for that range.
