Class schedules and final grades are no longermailed. Class schedules, mid semester warning grades, final grades, accountinformation, financial aid status, and academic history may beobtained by logging on to <strong>NHTI</strong>’s home page at www.nhti.edu.Contact the Registrar’s Office at (603) 271-7142 with questionsregarding the Student Information System or to request official gradedocumentation.Transferring to Other InstitutionsDepartment Heads and the Career Counseling and Placement Officeassist students who wish to continue their education at other colleges oruniversities. A number of formal and informal articulation agreementsexist and some are specific to particular majors. While some of theseagreements are listed by major in the “Programs of Study” section of thiscatalog, students who plan to transfer to other colleges or universitiesshould meet with their Department Head, the Director of Career Counselingand Placement and the affiliated institution for advice and assistance.Please see specific academic program pages for listings of institutionswith which <strong>NHTI</strong> has current affiliations.DisclaimerTransfer policies vary from institution to institution. The receivingcollege or university has sole discretion in determining the credits to beawarded. Students should not make assumptions about which credits aretransferrable even if an articulation agreement exists. Whether a studentis transferring into or out of <strong>NHTI</strong>, it is the student’s responsibility tocontact the appropriate person at the receiving institution in order todiscuss their policy, learn what documentation is required and, finally, todetermine and confirm transferrable credit.Underenrolled Day Classes<strong>NHTI</strong> reserves the right to cancel a class that it deems underenrolled.Students are advised that occasionally a day class may be cancelled forinsufficient enrollment, and students will be asked to attend that sameclass, if it is also available in the evening, through the Division of ContinuingEducation. However, <strong>NHTI</strong> recognizes its obligation to runcourses in the semesters indicated in the program curriculum section ofthe catalog. Therefore, <strong>NHTI</strong> will not cancel a day class unless the sameor a comparable course is available in the same semester in the evening.Withdrawal from <strong>NHTI</strong>Should a matriculated student find it necessary to withdraw from allcourses at <strong>NHTI</strong>, the Registrar must be notified in writing or by receivingan Institute Withdrawal Form from the student.An exit interview with the Associate Vice President for EnrollmentManagement is requested. Such withdrawal is subject to the same academicpolicy as applies to dropped courses. If such withdrawal occurs atthe 60% or later period, the student is subject to the same academicassessments and actions as students completing the semester.Students who have officially withdrawn in good standing may applyfor readmission by writing to the Director of Admissions and will requireno action by the Academic Standards Committee.83
